Prisma to close its online store from 1 August
Prisma Peremarket will close its ePrisma online store from 1 August. Orders from Prisma stores can still be placed via Wolt until 31 August. Until then, we continue to welcome orders from our customers both via www.prismamarket.ee and Wolt.
The closure of ePrisma and the Wolt service is related to the sales transaction concluded between Coop Eesti Keskühistu and SOK. The ePrisma platform is an internal S Group system and could not technically be included in the transaction.
“We continue to welcome orders from our customers both through the online store and via Wolt, as everything will continue as usual until 31 July. I can confirm that today’s news does not affect the operation of our physical stores in any way — they will continue operating as usual,” said Juri Ljaskin, Acting Country Manager of Prisma Estonia.
The ePrisma ordering environment on the website, click-and-collect service and home delivery will operate until 31 July. The Wolt service will continue until the end of August. After the closure of ePrisma, Prisma’s website will remain available to customers, where they can view product information and selection and log in to Prisma Konto, but it will no longer be possible to place orders.
The closure of home delivery services also means that the unit employing 40 mostly part-time employees will cease operations on 31 August. “At the same time, our goal is not to make redundancies on this scale, but to offer alternative positions in Prisma stores to the majority of these employees,” added Juri Ljaskin.
