Prisma lowered the price of 300 pet products
Prisma continues to gradually reduce prices. As the next step, the prices of more than 300 pet products have been lowered.
“The price reduction of pet products is the second stage of a broader price review. We started by lowering the prices of over 600 baby care products, and the initial results show that customers have responded very positively to the change,” said Teemu Kilpiä, Country Director of Prisma Estonia. Compared to the beginning of the year, sales volumes of baby food have increased by 46%, diapers by 42%, and baby accessories by 26%.
The choice of pet food largely determines an animal’s well-being, health, and quality of life. Proper nutrition helps prevent diseases, supports digestion, maintains a healthy weight, and strengthens the immune system. At the same time, the economic situation in Estonia is becoming increasingly difficult, and purchasing high-quality food for pets may soon become unaffordable for many. “We want to offer some relief to pet owners so they can continue to take excellent care of their companions,” Kilpiä added.
Prisma applies the EDLP (Everyday Low Price) pricing strategy, which means prices are continuously compared to market rates and kept consistently low regardless of campaigns. “Our goal is to ensure that people no longer have to hunt for discounts. If you shop regularly at Prisma, you can be confident you're also saving money,” Kilpiä emphasized.
If you find a lower price, let us know
“We encourage customers – if you notice a pet product being sold at a regular price that’s cheaper elsewhere than in Prisma hypermarkets or our e-store, let us know. We compare prices regularly and are ready to make adjustments,” confirmed Kilpiä.
